Blue Hour Fusion Quartet, are an instrumental jazz-rock fusion band based in Toronto, Canada. Their sound incorporates a variety of influences from jazz fusion and progressive rock, varying across their original compositions employing catchy guitar driven melodies, improvisation, and experimentation. The group features David Piluso (guitar), Tristan St-Pierre (keys), Damien De Oliveira (drums), and Russell Molina (bass).
Their debut album, ‘Blue Hour’ (2024) showcases the groups unique sound, garnering the attention of listeners, radio stations, and playlist curators, receiving regular airplay on Canadian radio stations like JazzFM, reaching 1500 monthly listeners on Spotify at its peak, and landing a spot on the first page of the Bandcamp charts for the jazz and fusion categories.
Damien is a core member of the group having founded the project alongside guitarist David Piluso. De Oliveira collaborated closely on the arrangements, and production.
