Damien is an established drummer, producer, and educator who performs in a variety of genres.

Damien De Oliveira is a Canadian drummer, producer, and educator from Vaughan, Ontario. He has over a decade of drumming experience playing a wide array of genres including jazz, funk, rock, and metal. Damien’s wide musical palate ensures a versatile and distinctive approach to his sound in every performance, which was in-part developed during his studies at York University. Damien completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours in 2023, and is currently working towards his Master of Arts in Musicology.

Sessions

I’m available for session work both live, and in the studio regardless of style. In order to get the best sound possible, I have a variety of gear suitable for any musical situation that arises.

Composition & Arrangement

Drum and percussion parts composed and arranged by an experienced drummer is invaluable and makes a track come to life. Allow me to write and arrange your piece’s percussion, which can then be programmed or played live.
